Puerto Rican Artist who's work centers on preserving precolumbian history, nature, and Caribbean Indigenous symbolism, bringing ancestral imagery into contemporary contexts through muralism and printmaking. Inspired by Juan Antonio Corretjer’s words, “The Taínos had the freedom that we long to have,” he reinterprets indigenous motifs, creating modern patterns that interact thoughtfully with space, color, and environment. By blending cultural memory with present-day visual language, his murals and printmaking highlight the significance of place, identity, and nature. Ultimately, his practice seeks to honor and protect Puerto Rico’s cultural and Indigenous heritage, reinforcing a collective sense of belonging and awareness.
